Why we published this

We publish every price on this site. That invites an obvious question: are they any good? So we pulled 2026 pricing guides from a dozen sources and put our published rates next to the national ranges. The short version is below, with the sources named so you can check them yourself.

Short answer: on every service we are at or below the middle of the 2026 range, and in three of eight we are at the floor. Where we are in line rather than below, it is because the number includes things the range does not, like the drone on every shoot day or ad creative inside the ad management fee.

Video production

A solo videographer in the United States runs $600 to $1,500 a day in 2026, with $1,200 to $3,000 quoted for a full day at production companies. Those figures are usually camera and operator only. Our Local day rate of $1,100/day includes the cinema camera, lighting, the drone, a planning meeting, and travel inside 100 miles of either office. Put the drone alone at $150 to $500 an hour on the national table and the comparison is not close.

Hourly, we charge $150/hr with a 2-hour minimum. The 2026 range is $100 to $400 an hour; the $100 end is a phone on a gimbal.

Editing

Productized editing subscriptions, the kind with a request queue, run $495 to $2,749 a month in July 2026 pricing. Content Retainer here is $229/wk, about $992 a month, which lands under the midpoint. It is deliberately narrow: one vertical 9:16 cut per request, color and sound, three business days. That is what a contractor posting every day actually needs, and it is why we can price it where we do.

Single edits start at From $299 against a $300 to $1,500 per-video freelance range. The difference is what is inside the number: captions, logo animation, and custom sound are included, not upsells.

Small-business PPC management in 2026 is either a flat $500 to $2,500 a month or 10 to 20 percent of ad spend. Clutch’s survey puts 62 percent of small and midsize businesses at $1,500 to $5,000 a month. Light at $749 and Loaded at $1,799 a month are flat fees inside that range, and both include the ad creative, which most agencies bill separately or source from stock.

The bigger difference is not the number. Most agencies at the low end of the range resell an offshore account manager. Ours never leaves the building, and ad spend goes straight to Google and Meta on your card. We never charge a percentage.

Websites

A professionally built small-business site costs $2,500 to $7,000 from a freelancer and $5,000 to $15,000 from an agency in 2026, with copywriting and photography commonly excluded. Our one-time build starts at $2,500 with copy, service and city pages, forms, schema, and tracking, and you own the code on day one.

The subscription is the unusual one. Maintenance plans run $100 to $400 a month after a build fee and almost never transfer ownership. Ours is $150/mo with no build fee and the site becomes yours after twelve months.

Drone

Aerial-only drone work is $150 to $500 an hour nationally, and roof inspection specialists charge $300 to $700. We charge $150/hr with a 2-hour minimum, and on any shoot day it is simply included.

What is not in the averages

National ranges hide three things. First, what the price covers; a $900 day that excludes editing, drone, and travel is not cheaper than a $1,100/day day that includes them. Second, who does the work; a fee is only a bargain if the person on your account is the one who was on the pitch. Third, what you own afterward. Every one of our numbers comes with the footage, the ad accounts, and the code in your name.

What to ask any quote

Ask what the day rate excludes. Ask who edits and who runs the ads, by name. Ask whether ad spend touches the agency’s account. Ask who owns the site if you leave. If the answers take more than one sentence each, the low number is not the real number.
